You never know how hard it is
Until life gets hard

Life takes it away
Unkind and unfair

Covered by the hidden trees
Amongst the howling
We lived
Sounds with no words
Through the night sky
Traveled in waves of sorrow
For there was never any one to follow

Stiff and rigid
Frozen with fear
Appalled stares
Drowned in sorrow
Overwhelmed from work
That's what got me here
Now propped up against the wall
